Boo Young Lee was born and raised in South Korea and has been living in Honolulu, HI since 1974. While raising a family, she started her real estate career in 1983 and quickly became recognized as an industry leader through her results, strong work ethic, communication skills and awareness of market activity and trends. Bilingual in Korean and English and with a seasoned understanding of diverse cultural needs, Boo Young has been very successful working not only with local clientele, but also with the international Asian community. Boo Young has received numerous awards for her accomplishments as an outstanding producer.

In addition to nearly 2 decades of real estate experience in Hawaii’s unique market, Boo Young is both a practitioner and teacher of Vipassana meditation. In 2000, Boo Young traveled extensively in East Asia to pursue the meditation techniques of Korean Zen Buddhism and Vipassana in South Korea, Myanmar, and Thailand. Her six-year journey has offered her valuable opportunities to learn about the true nature of human existence. She believes this practice has enhanced her ability to serve her clients as well as cultivate a deep appreciation of the human nature. Today, Boo Young continues to balance her real estate career with meditation and enjoys the benefits of an active life through regular mountain hiking, Iyengar yoga practices and love of books and music..

Returning to real estate full time in 2006, Boo Young worked towards and achieved the earned the prestigious Graduate Realtors Institute designation including special research and coursework on the study of the current real estate market, related technology, and Internet marketing tools. Boo Young continuously strives to further her knowledge and wisdom of the market. Her dedication and persistent focus remains towards better serving her clients and all living beings.
