Gigi Nakayama was born & raised in Hawaii. She attended Pearl City High – a member of the marching band & graduated with Cum Laude Honors. With a 4-yr Regent Scholarship & grant, Gigi attended Concordia University in Portland, OR & obtained a B.A. in Business with emphasis in International Mgmt. Gigi completed several interns - Assistant to the International Student Services Director, Assistant to the Marketing Director of Performing & Visual Arts, & interned at Hawaii's DBEDT.

After being away for school, Gigi Nakayama decided to return to Oahu to be closer to her family. Gigi began her career in Real Estates in 2002 working in various administrative positions including Administrative Aide to Office Coordinator at Prudential Locations. Through these positions, she was able to gain knowledge in all aspects of the Real Estates business. Her hard work promoted Gigi as Kahala Associates' first Marketing Director. A new position to the Company, Gigi was responsible in developing a marketing plan to promote both the company branding and their property listings. She redesigned the company's marketing materials & award winning website.

Her leadership and organization skills, with her interest to gain more knowledge & desire to help people find their dream home, Gigi obtained her real estate license and transitioned to the sales side of the business. She currently holds the title as Kahala Associates' Transaction Coordinator where Gigi assists all of our Agents throughout the Escrow process. Through her experiences & dedication to the company, Gigi was asked to also hold the title as Office Manager & Associate-Owner. She restructured the staff's duties & implemented the technology systems to provide a more efficient work environment.

Gigi's great interest to the industry, desire for success, & her committed service has shown in all of her accomplishments & she will continue to strive.
