Scott Startsman is President of the Diamond Head Hillside Board of Directors and a Realtor Associate Owner of Kahala Associates (the first wholly agent-owned luxury real estate brokerage company in Hawaii dedicated to providing concierge service to their clients) where he is the youngest fully-vested owner.  Scott is also a member of the Kahala Associates Board of Directors and also serves as the Technology Comittee Chairman.

Prior to becoming a co-owner of Kahala Associates, Scott spent two years on Hawaii's Big Island as a multi-million dollar real estate agent. Having a Realtor's license since 2002, he is well qualified to oversee a roughly $17 million dollar investment poertfolio.  Scott is unparalleled in client service and negotiating skills and maintains a thorough understanding of market conditions.His superior delivery of service to clients has led them to nominate him for the prestigous "Aloha Aina Award" six years running, from 2005 through 2010.  

In addition to his Realtors license, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Sales, from Appalachian State University where he was a scholarship member of the soccer team. After completing his undergraduate studies he interned with Interealty Corporation where he helped identify strategic real estate industry trends.

Currently, Scott is pursuing the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations.  The CRS is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field and recognizes professional accomplishments in experience and education. Both the GRI and CRS designations are prestigious programs recognized by the National Association of Realtors® and signify dedicated and knowledgeable agents.

Scott is very involved in his community as a Hawaii Blood Drive Blood Donor and Coach for the Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club. On his personal time he prefers to stay active, enjoying hiking, swimming open ocean swims, running, paddle boarding, Crossfit and surfing.
